In one of the largest deals of Q4 in the City and Midtown London markets, prop-tech entrepreneur Andrew Barclay completed the purchase of the carbon neutral commercial site – Thirty Lighterman. Located at 30 Wharfdale Road in King’s Cross, the eco-friendly space sits just north of the King’s Cross Central Campus – home to Google and Facebook.

An investor group led by Andrew Barclay paid around £18.75 million, for the freehold property signifying one of the largest commercial deals in the UK of recent months. The innovative, multi-let site is comprised of 14,465 square feet of offices on ground and three upper floors and has achieved rents as high as £85 per square foot, reflecting the significant demand for well located, high-quality and sustainable office space.
